As the title says, it's been years now that any sims - when making a pizza - leaves the pizza in the pizza making oven after being cooked (and hearing the sound of 'ready').
The only option is that I have to click on the oven to manually remove it, which doesn't make any sense. The Sims should automatically remove it and place it.
Yes, unfortunately the HCH pack was focused on running the food stand, not being able to go to one.
It would have been nice if AA and BH’s “cook” activity included removing finished pizzas & waffles as possible autonomous actions, not just starting them, for better cross pack compatibility - and this is the perfect use case. It’s a good point for the feedback forum.
So basically it's unplayable if we don't control a sims. We can't go to a pizzeria and have a NPC cooking pizza. That's a missed opportunity
Pretty sure this was as intended. It never made sense to me that my sim has to stand in front of the oven the entire time something’s baking, rather than being able to put the roast or whatever in the oven and then use the bathroom or clean the floor or whatever before taking it out again. Home Chef Hustle’s appliances allow this - because starting them and collecting the result are separate actions.
It also means that if you run a pizza stand, you don’t have to stop tending the stand while the next pizza cooks.
