How to get Sims to stop cheating/flirting with other Sims

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.91.186.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not really sure. This glitch seems to happen at random.
What happens when the bug occurs? This glitch seems to happen at random. For example: Two married Sims with flirt with the other Sims' spouse, and it won't be until they have already raised their love bar that I realize they have done this. They don't woohoo, just flirt.
What do you expect to see? I don't expect my Sims to flirt with each other when they are in committed relationships with another Sim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I'm having a problem with my own Sims flirting with other Sims that they aren't married to and raising each other's love bar without me doing anything to make this happen. It seems to happen at random. All of these Sims are my own and living in my house. I control them, yet at the same time they are taking matters into their own hands to flirt with each other.

@Khanistavv I just tend to make most of my sims loners, asexual, or both. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Other than that, all I can recommend is never socialize if flirty and immediately stop talking to any npc that shows up flirty.

This is ridiculous stop sims from cheating on each other especially if they have committed relationship and are loyal I really hate this I will stop playing because this gets on my nerves

There is a current bug report for some excessive flirting issues. Some things are broken for me and making it worse, so Unflirty, cold showers and disliking romantic things/Sims, etc, are all not working for me so I can't do anything to tone it down. I've had Sims accidentally gain a Romantic Interest from one autonomous conversation on the street, I've got flirty parents too in my game and flirty siblings. So I'm on this bug thread here:

@EtherealLith Hey, how should I do that? I am a new player and am pretty lost! My storyline, too, is being messed up because of random flirting.

@Pdawggggwoah Hi there, welcome!
If you want to follow the link on my post #14 just directly above yours you can report this as a bug if you feel it's not working as it should be and if your Sims have no Loyal trait. Using the link go to page 1 and you'll see a Me Too button on the very first post. Click that and if you hit Reply you should get a bug template form to fill in with information about your system. It helps to know your platform and installed packs to address bugs in the game so they can see who is affected.
If you're on PC and are asking about the MCCC mod, just enter the search term "Sims 4 MCCC" in your browser and you'll see the information for the MC Command Centre mod that some PC players use.
