I have this appear when I try to purchase a restaurant. When I do purchase a restaurant, I can't open it and it is still called "wwwwwwwwww". I have disabled mods, cleared cache, fresh install on a brand new laptop. I disabled fame. Have followed all the suggestions in previous forum posts. I am at a stand still, please help. Below is the screenshot of what I am seeing
I have also, removed saves, starting a brand new game twice and still the same issue.
I am sorry you are having this issue. Try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test in a fresh new save game to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there. This tests to see if the issue still remains with the mods folder completely moved rather than being disabled and with traces of mods removed with the deletion of the localthumbcache.package.
