Can you share a screenshot of your Game Options  > Gameplay in this game save, please? For example, mine look like this... do you have the same boxes unticked that have anything to do with household aging? It may also be good to untick the auto breakups:

 Also, do you  have Mods or CC, or did you used to have them?
