Infinite load screen after May 28, 2024 update

Let’s list everything done so far: I’m on update 109

- I checked all mods and they are updated

- repaired, removed all files that need to be removed. yes I know which ones 
- reset a new sims game 

- played on new save without mods 

- I never have anything in config overwrite 

And get no LEs.
Some households load and  some don’t and after a travel or two game goes into infinite overwrite. It’s barely playable. If this doesn’t get fixed I won’t buy anything else. I see people started having this problem much earlier than I have. Mine started with Lovestruck. I tried everything anyone said here and nothing helped

@CircuitD  Are you using the Off the Grid lot challenge?  If so, that's a known issue and the reason these lots won't load in live mode.

You can remove the challenge in Build mode.

If that's not relevant, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

This is definitely an EA issue not a mods issue. I would really appreciate if EA finally looked into this. I removed my old Sims 4 folder loaded the game to generate a brand new folder. Then I did not put in any mods and started the game. No mods, no cc new save file. The game works until I try to either travel or go to build mode. Then suddenly it doesn’t work anymore. Sometimes it will travel to lot let me build and goes to infinite loads screen after I try to return to map, sometimes it goes to infinite load screen when sim tries to travel, sometimes it will go to infinite load screen when I try to place lot. There is clearly an issue with the EA platform. I have played a clean, freshly installed brand new game with no add-ons and it still freezer on load screens. STOP IGNORING THE MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS THAT ARE REPORTING THE ISSUE AND BLAMING MODS. I can’t even send an error or LE log because I do not generate one. My game, which I spend over 1k on is completely unplayable. This issue exists since For Rent but Lovestruck update has made it far far far worse. Please stop pretending that this is not a problem. There are multiple posts in this site as well as other forums. This is a game ending issue. Some people that play one household might have not noticed. Also it’s not my laptop. I have plenty of space, speed and I updated my graphic card drivers. It’s EA patch that has started this. 

No I am not and most times I cannot load a lot to remove anything because as I’ve mentioned the load screen doesn’t load the lot in the first place. Also I mentioned I loaded a brand new save meaning I wasn’t able to apply any challenges. And I am also aware of the off the grid issue. 

I am trying to fix it on my own. I honestly hope EA will address the mounting errors especially the game breaking ones. 

I can confirm the "Off-the-Grid" challenge is a cause of the infinite loading bug. I took it off the lot and now can load in.

@CircuitD  Some lots start with the OtG challenge already applied.  So a new save wouldn't necessarily be exempt.  And I understood you'd tried to load the lots, but I wasn't sure if you'd specifically tried in Build mode, without going into live mode first.

If you'd like further help, I'd need to see a dxdiag.  But if you'd prefer to try to troubleshoot yourself, that's certainly an option.

@CircuitD In a thread in the mods forum, they usually are. Non-mod related posts are usually moved out to game issues.

Endless loading is a symptoms and I invite you to read the stickied post in game issues.

Hi @CircuitD , there is a bug that look like the one you are experiencing if you'd like to take a look: Endless Loading Crashing when trying to load a certain lot

Also, do you make sure you are clearing the game's cache everytime you remove your mods?
