There was a change in the last game patch that added something called an "Environment Score". I think it's possible that this new environmental score is the reason we're no longer able to get the "beautifully decorated" moodlet. I'm not sure if this is by design or if the tuning of the scoring system is off (i.e. it's too easy to get a negative environmental score) and it's causing a bug. I can understand a Sim having a negative reaction to a lot or neighborhood full of trash and smog but I don't think this reaction should apply to a nicely decorated house.
I've found a couple of other threads that seem to be related to this issue:
EDIT: The patch notes mention an option in the Gameplay menu to turn all of this off but to be honest I haven't yet been able to figure out the difference between turning it on and turning it off. Maybe it only applies to the fire ratings of certain build materials?

Same. I turned off the option, and nothing changed. This has to be a bug. Can someone move this thread or do we have to start a bug thread?

@Valentinator8 @duckiedroplets @ANTONJPSTER @Jomamacita If someone would like to create a new Bug Report on this topic I will ask if this thread can be merged with it. Add as much detail as you can and emphasize that it does not appear to be mod related. I'll look to see if any other threads can be merged as well just to keep any related posts all in the same place.
I'm just a regular Sims player, I do not work for EA, Sony, or Microsoft.
