Lot stuck as Residential

Question

Hey :) One of the lots in NewCrest is stuck as residential, the types available are..

Residential, Residential rental or Tiny Home Residential, nothing else. I did place a club there first but needed to close the game thinking I would change the lot type later on (done that many times before). A few game days later when I got back to finish furnishing the building I had no ability to do anything. Apparently one of the Townies had already moved in. That would be the 8/10/2022.ish, since I've bulldozed the lot, there never were any traits set so those are all empty. So still real days later the lot is stuck as residential and cannot be changed, normally or from the Manage Worlds window.

PC, 8/10/2025, Bulldozed the lot, made sure the traits were empty, started the game many, many times since. I have no idea about the "Issue Code", didn't even know there was such until reading *How to file a bug report.

Could you please provide the following information

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
Did you move the Sim that moved in back out ? You can't change to non-residential while someone is living there.
Did you have the issue before someone moved in ?

&nbsp;1, No, that issue was not there *Before I placed the structure.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2, I will try to assume control of that Townie and move them out myself&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3, When this started I don't believe I had any mods yet, I do now though (Needed them to circumvent the many BS maintenance catastrophes from the Rent Expansion, that kinda burst the bubble for Vanilla/Modded).&nbsp;

@crinric, That fixed it, I moved that townie out and immediately the Lot Type's freed up. I've never had to deal with that before and I would believe it's another issue of the Rent expansion.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Thanks :)

Hi MikeCobalt​&nbsp;
No, that's not a bug. You can't change the lot type to anything else as residential if someone is living there as they can't live on a community lot.
Moving this to gameplay.
