Love this game, but oh, the bugs!
I have been playing Sims 4 in all my spare time for some weeks now. I can't believe how much I love it and am into it. I have tried all sorts of different things. I can't imagine running out of thing...

@Seleos13, yes there are a lot of bugs, and some are more game disrupting than others. The whims not satisfying are very troublesome to me because I always like having small optional goals for my Sims. If the whim is something small like "Be funny with Bella Goth" then its not so bad, but if it is soemthing bigger, like "purchase a dishwasher" or "go on vacation to Granite Falls" then it is much more dissapointing when the whim doesn't get fulfilled like it should have! ☹️
As for the Sims not sleeping and only laying down to pop out of bed after a few seconds, this might not be a bug. Check to see if a radio is on in the room. 😉 Sims will not sleep if the radio is on and they only lay down for a few seconds and then get up and go do something else. (Although, I did have one Save Game that this happened and there wasn't a radio in the room, and it only happened to one Sim. That wasn't a bug, but it was some sort of glitch in that Save Game. )
Also, many problems can be solved by visiting another lot and then returning home, or , for more drastic situations, moving the family out of the house and then moving them back in. Doesn't work all the time, but it often does. But these kinds of fixes are usually more for when you game glitches and not necessarily a bug.
Also, repairing the game can help with corrupted data do that is why people will tell you to do that so often. It can't hurt to do it and it very well might help! 🙌 Likewise it is often beneficial to delete your localthumbcache.package files from your game folder. It is also easier to troubleshoot a problem if you have already tried some of these things.
I don't think you use Mods or CC, but those can also cause a lot of problems when they get outdated (which usually happens after EA updates the game) . But there are ways to deal with that and isn't as much trouble if you maintain your Mods and CC.
But there will always be some bugs ☹️ You can always serach the Bug Report forums and see if your problem matches an existing bug, and if it does, you can click on the "Me Too" button at the bottom of the first post and then add your expierience to the end of the thread. 🙂
Hopfully some of the more serious bugs will get fixed soon! But I'm glad you are enjoying your game so much despite the bugs! ❤️
