Downloaded the magic realm. so excited. I've 'experimented', learned from the sages, brewed spells. The only spell I can cast is inferniate. Yet it says I have learned everything. Can never find any dirt frog.... the casters alley does NOT sell everything you need for spells...If this is it this is boring! What I am doing wrong? It never said anything about giving motes to a sage. read that in the forum. And it wont let me go back and do it now.
Hi, the giving motes to the sages is the quest for your sim to become a spellcaster, if you created one in CAS before you first went to the magic realm you won't get that quest pop up. The sages also teach you new spells and potions when you level up their friendship, you can learn more yourself by practicing magic to level up your magic skill and ranks, there's a prompt for practice magic in their wheel when you click on your sim. The stalls in spellcasters alley rotate stock so just keep checking their wares regularly, dirt frogs and most frogs can randomly be found in any "check for frogs" interaction all across the worlds or they can be bred from other frogs. There's a frog habitat in the gardens in the magic realm and a few scattered around glimmer brook too🙂
Thanks for such a quick reply! I brought a non spellcaster to the magic realm. She asked the mage and was given ascension immediately. But she can't see the motes outside. Yes, I def need to explore glimmer brook more and go to stalls more often. Thanks for your help. I might be back with more questions but will play at it for awhile and see if I can answer my own questions!
Glad it helped clear things up for you 😁 there is a skill in their tree where you can see motes around the magic realm and consume them for magic experience, could be those motes the Internet mentioned. Best thing is to also is buy all the spell books from the stalls even if you're not a high enough rank so you've got them for later on, makes learning all the spells and potions easier than having to ask the sages all the time, they have a bad habit of walking away during conversations 😂
