I am on Symphony of Serenity quest, I bought a grill and have made 3 tables but I cant make progress in the quest. Task don't show I have completed them.

I'm having the same issue. My Sim grills every day but it never clears the "Cook on the Grill" task.
Edited to add: I had to turn off the Simple Living lot trait for the game to recognize using the grill.
