New glitches on Mac

Since the update today I've noticed glitches where I cannot drag plates to sinks or trashcans. Also, whenever my sim who is in the DHD career goes to a lot to work and I go with her,  her husband and child come home from school/work and cannot be sent back. I have tried disabling and reenabling mods and restarting the game and nothing has worked.
