No Mail

I am having problem with mail not being delivered. I have read many different options to resolve this issue and have been unable to get any mail whatsoever. I have seen multiple posts about this issue being resolved with a patch. Is there something I need to do for the issue to be fixed in my game? I just recently started playing The Sims 4 along with the Get To Work expansion pack. I was getting mail until several days ago. I am unsure as to what happened to stop my mail delivery. I don't even see the mail carrier show up anymore. The only thing I have done since I last got mail was rearrange my CC and mods. No new CC or mods were installed or anything. Like I said, I have done all the suggested methods and no luck, still no mail delivery.

    i didn't rename the folder, i moved it to the desktop and let game create new mods folder in each of the things you said to try

    That has the same effect :D

    I know you said you have it on all save games, but could you send me one that has the issue ?

    Just upload somewhere and dm me the link. If you use google drive, make sure the link is public.

    Did some testing on your save game with both all backs and just base and GTW

    1. Was greeted with: Get Mail interaction on your mailbox.
    2. Got a Sydrolin back. Guess that was what you sent to geo council.

       

    So bit unsure what's blocking the mail in your game. I did have a lot of stuff removed when loading into the save.

    Really don't know what it could be since we did all the mods removing ts steps.

    i've been debating on complete uninstall and clean reinstall, is only thing i can think of since i'm having the problem even with completely new game and no mods

    i wound up doing complete uninstall and reinstall and starting complete new game, couldn't get anything done to get mail working other than doing the shift click every sim day on the mailbox
