kusurusu Those traits have always worked that way. Nothing new. They only keep their respective motives from gradually decaying when you aren't directing the sims to do things that will cause the motives to go down. But like, in the case of Steel Bladder, if you direct your sim to drink a bar drink or when they get the push to get a drink of water, bladder will still go down. Same with the others at times, there are times when your sim will get dirty, hungry or need to sleep and you have to take steps to remedy the lowered motives because of something that happens in the game like triggering a trap in the JA temple and getting one of the curses that cause a motive to drop. There are lots of little things throughout the game that will cause one or more to go down but if you don't trigger anything that causes a motive drop, they will stay maxed. Even when they do go down from some of the things you have a sim doing, sims with the traits don't usually have anywhere near the motive drop as they do for a sim without the traits.
Hope this helps.
CGrant56just because it has always been that way doesn't mean it's working as intended, if a trait claims it keeps your sim forever fresh/full etc. or that your never have to take care of those four needs then in no way should it be possible for them to go down (from certain interactions/events)
