Nothing Loads

In Create A SIM I am unable to select anything from Hair, Facial Features, Clothes, Accessories, Footwear.  things just take too long to load, and when they do eventually load,  the courser starts  behaving erratic moving way to fast and it skips over items likes its playing hopscotch.     If there is too much in the game for the system to handle maybe the Sims engine needs updating.    I play skate as well  and the glitches and bugs which have happend during game play haven't stopped the game.    With the Sims 4 I have to log out of it and then log back in.   And it's often the same issues when I do,  so I have to log out of it again.
