Prevent Sim Generation
Dear community,
I have only had the game since November and I would actually have a lot of fun with this game, but there is one thing that really annoys me since the very day: the automatic sim generation of the game.
I currently have 199 homeless single households in the "My Households" category and several multi-person households in the "Other Households" category. It doesn't matter what I do. Whether I assign the Sims jobs and careers manually or not: the game doesn't use them. Then when I look at the sims generated by the game for the jobs, I usually find that the characteristics and traits hardly fit the job and all my own sims would fit much better. I could help myself with restaurants and shops by buying them and hiring employees from my Sims. But I can't do that with other places like wellness centres, cafés or gyms. Wherever you don't have an "Engage" function in such locations, the workplaces either remain empty (with mods) or occupied with unnecessary sims (without mods).
Is there a mod that makes it possible to assign jobs in the game realistically and best suited to the Sims automatically and randomly without creating new Sims? Or is there perhaps a mod that allows you to buy more property than just restaurants and shops? Or is there any other way to get around this stupid game mechanic? That must be possible.
I already used MCCC, NPCC, NoRandom, Bienchens Townie Overhaul, Auto Employee and none of them can do this unfortunately or are outdated, even though I've made all the necessary settings. I would have liked to get more expansions in the last sales, but in this state I don't see why I should invest more in the game if I can't play it as realistically as I would.
Hope you experienced players know a solution what the developers can't obviously.
