If you are trying to cheat occult ranks off, you probably need to remove the current rank first before you can add the new rank. That's how it works with half aliens anyway if you try to change them to full alien.
Otherwise @PugLove888 knows her business and gave good advice.
You can always try just giving her a makeover in the CAS and that may make her a little easier to deal with if she isn't rocking that "amazing" townie fashion.
@gwenleah, yes I thought of trying the Rite of Dissolution and then later giving her the Rite of Ascension as well, like you thinking it might work like a career and bring you down a level if you quit and then got reinstated. So I tried it before I even posted the cheats because I know a lot of people don't like using cheats, so I was trying to find an in-game way of doing it. But as you found out, this doesn't work in resetting Spellcaster rank, or even knocking it down a bit! ๐ข
But which part are you having problems with? ๐ค Are you having problems adding the Sim to the world to become playable, or are you having problems adjusting her Spellcaster level? (If it is the latter, then in the cheat, instead of the #, you need to only put the number for the amount of level points and not the # sign. ๐
Also, do you play on a console or a PC or Mac? If you play on a PC or Mac do you happen to use any Mods or Custom Content (CC)? ๐ค
Also, it is sweet of you to keep the Sim you don't like in order to please Simeon Silversweater! ๐ Simeon is a pretty nice guy! โค๏ธ

Nope, it doesn't matter. All Mods are out of my game, no CC. That cheat just doesn't work. Maybe something's been adjusted since you were able to use it, Puggers.

@gwenleah, no, nothing was adjusted or changed as there have not been any patches since I posted with the cheat.๐ I tied the cheat before I posted it for you, and I just tried the cheat now and they worked both times!
I know you removed your Mods and deleted the localthumbcache.package file from the game folder earlier, but did you also delete this file after you removed the Mod that you forgot about? ๐ค Sometimes bits of old or corrupted data can linger, and this is why deleting this cache file is so important. ๐คจ Otherwise, even though you have removed the Mods, bits of it can still remain and effect your game! ๐
Also, Before you tired the Stats.Set_Stat RankedStatistic_WitchOccult_WitchXP cheat, did you enter the testing cheats on cheat first and then press Enter on your keyboard?๐ค The spellcaster rank cheat will not work without the testing cheats on cheat entered first!
Also, I might have not been clear with the Spellcaster rank cheat ๐ณ ... the Spellcaster that you want to change the rank of should be the Sim that is active. This is why they have to be made a playable Sim for this cheat to work. Also, there should be a space before you enter the number of the level . For example, it will look like this:
Stats.Set_Stat RankedStatistic_WitchOccult_WitchXP 550
And then press the Enter button again.
To make sure you entered the cheat correctly, just copy from here and paste it in your cheat box after you enter the testing cheats on cheat. ๐ It is rather a long cheat! ๐๐
You can put in any value, depending on what rank you want the Spellcaster to be. I was able to change a Master Spellcaster to an Acolyte by entering 550, but that is just one example. ๐
Hopefully with this more clearer information you will be able to get it to work! ๐ค
