@honnahoops I tried this out in my game and this is what I found.

I put down planters in the fall (apple tree time) then purchased the starter fruits as you indicated. After planting them, they sprouted.

A couple in game days later they finished growing and were full trees.

So are the sprouts what you are seeing and thinking they are herb plants?
