I have finally managed to get the event finished thank goodness , Now though that tag is still in my screen top left , Is there any way to get rid of it or is it stuck there until the event actually finishes in however many days
My real issue though was how rubbish the event rewards were .
YorksRob You can disable Online Social Features, under Options > Game Options > Other; then delete accountDataDB.package, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. The former will also cut off your access to the Gallery, at least from within the game, but you can switch back and forth if necessary.
The real point is it shouldn't be necessary to turn anything off . Event done close the tab off ,
