Rom-Com Scenario missing sim? (a general discussion question)

I started the Rom-Com scenario the other day and have noticed that there seems to be a sim missing...It might be due to having not starting the scenario when creating the Sims until a day later.

Then I didn't remember to add the third sim until much later through the manage household - add a sim. That being after having to fix the issue of the accidentally unfurnished house at 14 Nettle Lane when I initially moved the sims into their house. I had to go get a copy of the house from another save.

Even now that there is a housemate, it is still saying there is a missing sim despite one of the main sims already being friends with him. I also get the additional info of "A sim needed moved out or is Deceased".

I guess maybe I'm not entirely clear on "Spotlight for one"... Somehow something is not computing for me and I'm not sure what more I needed to do when setting up the Scenario Sims. Or, worst case, if this is in fact a common glitch? (But I'm not going there just yet and am assuming I haven't yet done something and in which case - What have I not done?)

    You should read the description carefully.

    Two YA Sims that are engaged are needed. Adding a third Sim is not needed but if added will not break the scenario.

    I'm set on what the scenario description says, that and the first 3 potential outcomes are clear. But it's "Spotlight for One" I am confused by,  especially since it is saying a sim who is needed is missing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    But I was also adding the third sim as a potential suitor for different sim in another household if the Rom-Com couple should figure things out and end up going for the Rom-Com Happy Ending.

    In the fourth outcome one of the original engaged couple must be a comedian while the other must be either deceased or have moved out and thus missing.

    @jpkarlsen Oh...that makes sense. 😂

    I understood the comedian goal, but somehow the phrasing of the second part of that outcome threw me. 🤦🏻‍♀️
