Save file disappeared?

I was playing the game last night, saved, went to manage worlds, saved again, and then saved and exited. When I went to play today the entire save file is gone. I can't find it anywhere. The home screen is just telling me to resume one of my old saves. I really liked the sims I was playing with and the house, is there anywhere it could be or any reason why it wouldn't show up after I saved?
