Stuck in world selection

Every time I try to select my lot, it loads for a second and then puts me back in lot selection. I can't actually play with my sims. I saw someone saying to delete all LastExemption files and see if it makes a new one, so I did that and it did make a new one but I have no idea what it means. Can someone help me?
