save game slot issue

I have tried everything, literally, to fix the issue I am having with my game and nothing has worked. There appears to be a phantom game saved/stuck in slot 1, so every single new save I make (as in, if I fully remove the folder for The Sims 4 and start fresh) automatically saves to slot 2. I have no idea how or why, I can't reset my profile at all to perhaps fix this (make it look like I have never played the game). I have even fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Did the same with the EA App, the issue remains. How can I fix this?

    could you post some pics of what you're seeing ? What do you mean by slot 1 and 2 ? When you try to load a save game in the game there's an empty slot ?

    I tried to do a video, so you can see what I mean because I think showing a picture in this case wouldn't do much because it will "look like" I just deleted the slot 1 save lol. You know how our games saves in the Slot_0000000# format in the saves folder? With a fresh new The Sims 4 folder, as if I never played a day in my life and finally starting, there is no Slot_00000001 save. The very first save is Slot_00000002.
