Screen Lagging

Whenever I am in-game, the screen is delayed for about 2 seconds. I do not play with mods, and have updated my game recently. I even went as far as repairing the game files on the EA website when logging into The Sims 4, and nothing has been resolved. Is anyone else having this issue?
