Sim never completes a track after getting onto a music label

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim use the music mixing station to record a track that gets them signed by a label. Then go on to try recording another track.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim stands at the music station, working at the single track indefinitely, and never finishes it
What do you expect to see? I expect the sim to complete a track in a finite amount of time, like he did before getting signed onto a label. If the sim walks away mid-mixing, he can return and "resume" the track, the way a sim can resume their work on other creative stations.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
My sim stands at the music station, working at the single track forever, never completing his track, despite getting multiple reminders from the label producers that they are going to drop the sim if he doesn't get his derriere off the couch and send them a mixtape. I've even tried using the "Make happy" cheat midway though his hours of mixing to make sure he doesn't walk away from burnout. If I do give the sim a break, there is no track to "resume" mixing when the sim returns to the music station.
