When i click on the nature press for my sim to make something, it resets my sim and automatically cancels out the action. This has been happening since the recent update. I did check to make sure everything is up to date. I cleared my cache and repaired the game.

I'm having the exact same issue. I play on Mac, no CC or Mods.
Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. This will let you know if a mod or CC item is your cause. If it is, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE
