Sims 4 game clock not syncing in sims world

Product: The sims 4
Platform: MACOS
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? All the time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.73.57.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? very pack except Paranormal pack
Steps:
What happens when the bug occurs? My sims work/school not starting at the time they supposed to start work/school and going hours later and coming home late in the night
What do you expect to see? Going to school 8am and coming home 3pm and adult sims going to work on time as well
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Every patch
If yes, please describe the patch or change you made Yes , April 29, 2021

I kept on resetting my origin and repair the game but it kept on doing the same

gameplay issue

@fashionbug123 As you stated in your report, you do use modifications. Did you try and test this issue without mods and did you also remove the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder?
I would strongly recommend these steps and test your game on a new save in order to see if this issue is game related. Then best practice is to test your mods on a new save using the 50% methode to find the culprit. Hope this will help.

@fashionbug123 I'm... Not very technically savvy. But for a quick fix... What I've found is when they start being off kilter for their proper time, I will pause it for a moment. That helps it catch back up. If THAT doesn't work, then I'll try switching into build mode for a second and click around in there for a minute. That generally catches everything up. Mind you, this addresses the SYMPTOM, not the actual problem. But it's a good stopgap if it isn't too bad.

Oh, and definitely listen to the above person more than me. Lol! This is just what works on MY game.
