Sims Attending University
I decided I no longer want to play 5/6 sims, so I have chosen one sim I want to play and I’ve decided to split up my household and move into a University housing. Some of my previous sims are living ...
@SophieBxnksIf the dorm you are moving into already has playable sims (an active household) in it then all you are doing is merging households and all the sims in it will be playable. If you want to just play one sim in a dorm, you need to move into one that has no other playable sims in it. The game will assign roommates that are NPCs to the dorm and but the only playable sim will be yours.
@CGrant56 I like how if you are playing a young adult who still lives at home with his/her family you can split them off to have the young adult live in University housing, and at the end of the term/ graduation you have the option to merge them back into their family's household. I think this is a fairly close match for how it works for many young adults in real life. :D

@RandomBuzziness True, I do that too. Especially if the sims is the heir so when they finish university, the just move back to the home lot. Also, I have them still living at home and attending from there. But I do like to play the dorms and on campus houses too. So many ways to play the university experience! 🙂
