Specific Lot Won't Upload to the Gallery

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.329.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All game packs and stuff packs, Missing expansion pack lovestruck.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempting to upload this certain build on the lot of Tail's End.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I go to upload this build specifically it will save it to my library the first time but won't upload to the gallery even if I click the "upload to gallery" button. Then when I try again or go to upload the build from the main menu or anywhere else the game freezes and never unfreezes. It's only on this build specifically, I don't have the issues when trying to upload anything else to the gallery. Would there be a specific item on the lot that can't be uploaded? The build is labeled as no CC and I don't use CC in my builds
What do you expect to see? My build uploaded to the gallery.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent Sims 4 update and patch on July 25th, 2024.

In the screenshot, you can see that the build doesn't upload and just spins and is just on an infinite loading screen until I force close my game.

Hi @OxanaKSims , can you try also clearing the game's cache by deleting the localthumbscache.package file located in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 ?

Well, I figured it out. This is because of the paintings from references. BUT!!! They are NOT CC! And I already uploaded this built with these paintings before and there wasn't any problem at all

So, for the sake of experiment, I downloaded from the Gallery and placed my house in the clean game. Didn't change anything. Tried to upload it again to the Gallery, but nothing worked. Eternal loading.
    This lot

    Gallery is broken 😢

  • its 12/10/24 and I had finished a house a week ago and have been trying to upload it. Every time I've tried it's been a perpetual loading screen. I then have to click the x icon which does allow me to save the game, but I do have to restart. and it seems like the problem started after the last update we got but it could definitely be me. I just figured after a week it might work itself out. I just want to know if anyone else is having the same issue.

No that's not the issue. When I go to upload it I get an endless loading screen. Freezing the game and making me exit out. It will let me save first. I've tried to upload it everyway possible. My next move is to take out all cc. Idk what else to do. It doesn't like that house but I do!!

After Testing this many times.. and having to deal with the annoying stuck spinning upload wheel that NEVER goes away, having to Force the game to End Rask in Task Manager, this is 100% related to photos taken by your Sims on the Lot. As someone who loves capturing the growing memories of my Sims in photos around their homes after many attempts to find the sweet spot, its right around 4MB that the Game will allow you to upload a given lot to the Community Gallery. I'm not sure how much past that 4MB total it could go, since we dont see a more specific total as is. I just start moving photos I want to go along into a room that gets uploaded with only them to help free up space and give people the option of downloading them to their game. You can still upload with some though until you hit that limit. So I'll usually move them into that room and only upload to my own Gallery until I see that number and then upload it to the Community. Hopefully this helps. If someone from the Sims Team is reading this, please give us some kind of color-coded Red text that alerts us the lot is over this limit so we dont have to Force Quit the entire game everytime.

I cannot upload my lot onto the gallery. I can upload to my Library. I just get an endless load screen.
