the romantic options or interactions do not appear

I've tried this and it still won't let me do any romance options. The game marks my sims as siblings even though they have no relation, and they are married.

Hi, I also had this problem and tried this solution .  It seems to work now, but I do not know how to get my saves back.

You can now start to copy back things from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old to the new Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder that was created.

First only copy (I suggest to copy so you can go back in case anything goes wrong along the way) the content of the folder Saves (these are your save games). If you are prompted if want to overwrite a save, decide if you want to keep that testing save you just made or not. If not, just overwrite if, if you want to keep it, rename the save to a different number that isn't taken.

Test just your save game with nothing else added back. If that works, you can start copying back the rest. If not, check back.

You will need the following folders

- Tray (your households and lots you have saved to library)- Custom Music (if you added any)
- Screenshots (if you've taken any)
- Videos (if you've taken any)
- ConfigOverride (if you made any although I recommend redoing those)
- Options(.ini) (although I recommend to just redo your settings in the game)

Now test again. If that still works, you can put back your mods. Put them back in groups and make sure they are still compatible with the game.

All other files are recreated and not needed.

It's possible that the issue only affects certain couples so make sure they didn't turn into siblings as the thread linked.

I fixed it by doing this, it might not be the same problem.

I entered the 'cas.full_edit_mode' cheat in the cheat box. I had to go onto CAS and click on sexual orientation. Then clicked This sim is exploring romantically: Yes. Then I went pack onto main game and it came back. 

Edit to add: spoke too soon, upon adding in my save, romantic interactions still do not show up for my spellcaster sim. Will check with other sims in the save.

Hi! Thanks for posting the fix to this issue! It worked to fix the romantic interactions not showing up, but it caused a new issue for me. Upon first launch I got a pop up that said 'Unrecognized Graphics Card'. The game still ran & let me create a new household to test out the original fix. But how do I resolve this new issue?
