The Sims 4 Easter Eggs?

Hi there,

I have a strange problem but I'm very sure I'm not the only one with this.

In 2015 there was a easter egg hunt around if you'd contacted Jasmine Holiday. Now I'm playing The Sims 4 on my playstation and it still shows me the subject of the easter egg hunt as collectable in my household inventory list ( the list from personal inventory-> klick the diamond and the list shows up)  while this hunt is'nt available no more.

If I look at the information at this list about the easter eggs it tells me the hunt will show up in spring, what it is now, but still no challange.

I have almost every collectable of The Sims collected by now, but this subject will be open forever if the hunt doesn't open again, or if there's no update from The Sims that will delete this.

On Google I saw that the last hunt was 2015, I've waited a whole year (2019-2020) to participate to this challenge so it's kind of stupid I'll never be able to accomplish this challenge... I have the very exact problem on the challenge with the sugarhead skulls, Diá De Los Muertos (October). Please can anybody help me out?

Thanks so much for that tip @EuphorialQueen 🙌 I did not realize there was a cool-down period and that you could check in the same location more than once per holiday. LOL it's no wonder I have never managed to complete the collection! xDDD

I managed to collect all the eggs it was hard I couldn't find the first one anywhere so I made the tradition everyday for a week and I finally found it in the bushes in front of the chez liama and I unlocked bun bun.

@Rachelharris31 I created a custom holiday with the Egg Hunt tradition on the same day as the Romance Festival in San Myshuno. Between searching all of the planter boxes, park benches, etc., in the festival area and various items in the karaoke bar next-door, I was able to complete the entire collection start-to-finish all in one night! xD And yeah, it unlocked Bun Bun for me too :D

I think I was awarded the Easter Egg Sleuth badge b/c I [+XP] a comment on this thread.  I totally over-estimated how difficult earning that badge was going to be!  It's almost like the badge itself was an Easter Egg.  (:

@KleineDrakenkop I'm glad to hear it worked out for you :D Seasons is probably my favorite expansion pack. It lets you do things like play a lottery for a chance to win a million simoleons, have a "talk like a pirate" day, go ice skating and build snowmen in the winter, have water balloon fights in the summer, and much more! The seasonal and weather effects look and sound amazing! They really did an awesome job on this pack.

I'm just a regular Sims player, I do not work for EA, Sony, or Microsoft.

@KleineDrakenkop I haven't yet tried to complete this collection but I do know of one place where you should be able to find at least one Sugar Skull. If you have one Sugar Skull you might be able to use it to get the others.

If you have the Jungle Adventure pack and your Sim has the maximum level in the Selvadoradian Culture skill, you can ask a shopkeeper to see their hidden inventory at one of the supply tables in the Puerto Llamante Marketplace. This will open up a large inventory of adventuring supplies, artifacts, and relics, and I have always seen at least one Sugar Skull in there as well. I haven't yet tried to use one of those Skulls to complete the Dia de los Muertos challenge, though it might be fun to try.

I'm not sure if there are any other places to find a Sugar Skull, but the Puerto Llamante Marketplace is the one place I have found one every time I looked there.

Good luck, I hope this helps :D
