Canoe only for 1?

Sadly not just the canoe but also the jet skis and sailboat are only 1 sim boats as well.

My hope is that they will develop cars in a future pack. When they make vehicles that can hold two or more sims, they should easily be able to expand this to boats.

I really don't understand why they didn't create boats to handle at least two people, they did this in TS3.

Because not even group activities are group activites in TS4. Very few are smooth and dynamic (I can't even think of an example right now that is...), it's always done one after another like it was a solo activity.
So I'm not surprised boats are a solo activity, but it's damn weird that they are. It makes you wonder, is it that unfathomable that we'd want our sims to fish along with friends on a boat, or have a romantic boat trip with their partner.
