There are two competition types (romance and baking). Can we customise our own competitions? Like for Spellcasters, crafters, bbq etc.

There are more than two, but those are the ones ties to specific skills. The other skill-based contests are more general ones.

Creative Skills Elimination (Teen+)
Child Skills Elimination (Child only).

Nothing vanilla for Occult XP or for skills other than creative ones (except for kids), though I'm sure modders will be on that, sharpish.

For your examples above:

You could do a BBQ specific one via the Cooking Skills Elimination (covers Cooking, Baking and Gourmet Cooking). You would just need to set up the lot with Grills instead of Stoves and set Grill as the Scheduled Activity instead of Cook.

Spellcasters could possibly do something with the Popularity Contest Elimination rule, if it's based on how they behave when using their spells. Only the nicest Spellcasters could win in this case, as it's based on increasing friendship, not increasing enmity. They might also be fun to play as (or against) in challenges with Motive/Relationship deficit Rules, and/or Player Choice Eliminations, things like Motive Games/Sul Sul Island gameplay. Like having a Vampire on Sul Sul Island in the trailer.


Can the group fitness class be incorporated into other types of fitness activities, like plumboomba?

Fitness classes can only be run from the new objects in this pack. No Plumboomba classes, unfortunately.

Let's hope that group Plumboomba will be added in a patch 🥲

Thank you so much for this Q&A EmmaVance! I have a couple of questions.

•   I know you can't do two getaways at once, but can you do a getaway and a vacation at the same time (with different sims, of course)? 

• From what I've read, you can assign infants, toddlers, and pets to roles on a getaway or custom venue if they are part of your household.  I was wondering if you could assign them to roles on a getaway if they are part of the household you're holding a getaway at? For example, if I hold a getaway at another sim's house, can their infant or pet be assigned to a role?

• Related to the previous question. Will Sims assigned to a role perform their activities on any sims on the lot or just other sims with roles? For example, will a sim whose role is to care for pets, care for pets even if those pets aren't assigned to a role?

• My final question is about playing the rest of your household while one or two sims are on a getaway. Do sims on getaways have any unique away actions? What happens if their getaway ends while you're playing with other members in the household who aren't on the getaway? Do they receive any reward traits or relationship gains/sentiments with other sims on the getaway?

Only Getaway at home is free.

So if the sims go to visit grandparents, they have to participate financially.

About Vacation and Getaway, Getaway cancels all events (Social Event, Vacation, Holiday, ...),  a dialog box will appear before leaving the lot as a warning.

In fact Getaway works like Active Career, you can't control another sim somewhere else until its end.
