- You have any hiders in game? like situational outfit hider? those mods do give that custom wrench icon if uploading. (not sure was it for sims only, not for lots) .
Sometimes crafted items do it too. or paintings made with easel.
My museum lot did the same, it was one of career rewards. - Sometimes pictures taken using the cameras can also make it come up as modded. Not sure how but I’ve watched lots of streams where it happened to the streamer
- I never thought about that. I have TwistedMexi’s Better Build/Buy mod installed and I think I checked the box to activate the ignore gameplay unlocks entitlement cheat. I’m almost positive I checked that box. I knew I was overlooking something obvious. I put that mod back in recently and when it’s installed it’s kind of set it and forget about it until I uninstall.
Thank you @Ellupelluellu.? - atreya332 years agoLegend

As far as I can tell it depends on what you have taken a picture of. I have done some testing and if I take a picture that displays a cc item the picture is tagged as cc. Even when I remove the cc item and the picture shows up correctly without the cc item installed it is still considered cc. As far as I can tell this applies to pictures of both cc build buy items and sims wearing cc outfits. - SweetieWright_842 years agoSeasoned Ace

I've never even been able to use paintings shared on the Gallery in builds without it being tagged as Modded. That was before I used mods & cc. - @SelinaKyles @Atreya33 @SweetieWright_84 Thanks for sharing this thing about pictures. I haven’t used any photos my sims have taken so this all new to me. One of my sims has taken up photography as a hobby so I will be sure not to include any of her photos in builds I intend to share.?

Photos my sims have taken have always seemed to work. I'm talking about the custom paintings people share on the Gallery. Those always flag as CC for me, which is a shame because there are some really nice paintings. - pictures or paintings from reference you can get from gallery sometimes might do that to builds they are used in
otherwise i haven't run into anything cause I don't use any actual cc or mods - @SweetieWright_84 I see what you mean now. In the past I've used quite a few pictures from Summerrplays and you jogged my memory, those always had the cc icon even in the gallery.
@Simmingal I will keep that in mind for future projects.?
This morning's problem turned out to be the doors.??♀️ I use a lot of stuff from Peacemaker including his upgrades of the doors and windows for most of the packs. That includes Island Living. What threw me off was in the thumbnail it showed both the pack icon and the cc icon. The palm tree icon from IL caught my eye and I didn't bother to spot the cc icon next to it. The doors and windows were the one item I never thought to check because they look so much like the originals, just crisper and cleaner. - PhantasmKiss2 years agoSeasoned AceIf I have mods on in my save, the entire save, then anything I build there will come up as modded, even though there is no custom content in it. To fix this, I save the build to my library, disable mods/cc in the game, then place the build in a fresh save. I can upload to the gallery from there, and it shows up correctly.
