Would you buy official fanmade packs?
Hello, peeps, I was thinking about somethign that I would really adore in this game and I wanted to share it with you all.
The was me, once, searching to know about how Cities; Skylines was produced, their development process and all of that, when i read this:
"The game was built from the ground-up to be friendly to player-created modifications, interfacing with Steam Workshop. Colossal Order found that with Cities in Motion, players had quickly begun to modify the game and expand on it. They wanted to encourage that behavior in Cities: Skylines, as they recognized that modding ability was important to players and would not devalue the game. Within a month of the game's release, over 20,000 assets had been created in the Workshop, including modifications that enabled a first-person mode and a flying simulator. As of March 2017, over 100,000 user-created items were available. Many of these fans have been able to use crowd-funding services like Patreon to fund their creation efforts. Paradox, recognizing fan-supported mods, started to engage with some of the modders to create official content packs for the game starting in 2016. The first of these was a new set of art deco-inspired buildings created by Matt Crux. Crux received a portion of the sales of the content from Paradox".
I kept that in my mind for a long time, till today. I was seeing some fan-made mods for The Sims 4, and I was wondering how cool they are, but I'll never use most of them (besides MCCC). I don't like some of the cc "in-game" thumbnails, or maybe I am too afraid of viruses and stuff like that. But, omg, look at this work:

A beautiful conversion of one of Sims 2 Stuff Packs that I loved so much. It looks so well done, the creator put so much work in converting so many objects, even separating some of the clutter from other furnitures... It probably took so much of his time, why we can't have that in our games? Why can't EAxis recognize those creators. Look at "meaningful stories" from roBurky! It looks exactly like something we are constantly asking the devs, and its there... Done, just waiting EAxis to partnership with its creator. Its so good that I was brave enough to include it into the few mods i have in my game! I would totally support that if they wanted to include it officialy. As I think that mod should be an update to the base game, maybe they could pay him for his work hours like if he was employed to do that... But look at the Ikea Home Stuff Pack... It could be a brand new gamepack for the game (way better than most Sims 4 SPs, to be honest).
Maybe they could do something like Lego Ideas. People send a bunch of stuff to the Lego Ideas, there is some rules liek it can't be something they already have in Lego, or something offensive, and it works like a campaing. You gather votes for your creation and wait to see if you win. Each year they release a package with the logo LEGO IDEAS, made by one of their fans. Some of them are so beloved that its sales went better than actual Lego products.
Before aplying one mod/cc to participate in the contest some ruels would have to be followed to mantain the quality of the game, respect the games rating and to make the game enjoyable for the consumer. After the winner is picked yearly (or in another time period) all its coding, textures, meshes, etc... will be in the hands of the official developers of the game, then all its bugs will be fixed, all meshes and textures will be polished, new animations can be made for the content, and it will receive mantainance from EAXIS for the rest of the duration of the base game life time. All the cc creators that win will receive a percentage equivalent to the quantity of content he created as long as tr product is on sale.

What do you guys think about it? Eaxis should start accepting more their vast cc creator community, embracing it and using them to theri advantage and ours?
EDIT: Obviously that the product would have to meet certain requirements of quality and matchingness to the game. It would be lazy to allow bad developed content to screw up the players experience.
