This was a thread on the old Vanilla forums a VERY long time ago, and I thought that I'd bring it back again!
I won't be dogmatic but, can we please keep replies to one line? Feel free to post often, though!
Okay, I'll start:
You've played the Sims 4 too much when you keep looking for plum bobs above everyone's heads
When you dream of your sims, then you wake up, turn your game on, and try to replicate what you saw in your dream
I was working around the house and to my horror, I was humming sims b/b music. Must be spending too much time building and decorating.😁
You're scandalized when someone in an unrelated context says "Woohoo!"
I'm even scandalized when I say woohoo instead of yippee and immediately regret everything
When you see someone in real life with a hairstyle you like and think, "I need to find a custom content version of that!"
When you are looking for a new range (stove / oven?) or anything else house related (wallpaper etc) and tell your partner, oh I know what kind I want, it's in The Sims, let me bring up a picture to show you...and your partner doesn't even question it whatsoever because you do this every single time you do or talk about doing house stuff
Or when you see item that resembles one in the game
and you're like I use that everywhere in the sims is this a sign? Do I in fact want this item myself 🧐
When you wake up at 2am and get up to finish your latest house in sims.
Oops, I do that way too often. I need to remember sleep is important lol.
...You see an interesting person in real life and think to yourself, "I think I can re-create that look in CAS!"
You meet someone irl who's an outlandish dresser and wonder why they don't have an eyeball ring.
I saw bag one day with that eyeball print and it took all the forces in the universe to convince myself to not buy it 😂
When you atart dreaming about your sims, or that you are a sim….
When you look into your linen closet and reconsider your linen choices because its looking a lot like The Sims 4 Lovestruck expansion pack in there 😶
