Re: [MOD/CC RELATED] Sims have a shattered/buggy face

Hi @bxbytrishx There's a good chance you have an unreported broken mod or CC item. Test without Mods complete: Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.

I don't have any mods in the game, but look at the heir to my dynasty and his son. Eyes and nose are broken. All your advice didn't help me. The advice to change the details of the face does not suit me, because the essence of a dynasty is the inheritance of genetics. It should not be.

@NunaMoona So, you always play with no CC or mods at all? With an empty mods folder? If you played with mods or CC of any kind, test without those. (I'll be honest, I'm not seeing the issue you describe in the screenshots, though.)  As for the face alterations, it seems that for some players who have been using a broken preset, changing in CAS is needed in order to trigger the preset to stop showing up in game. It shouldn't be necessary if all cache was fully cleared, but perhaps some cache is getting missed.
