Sims 4 freezing after update November 2021

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

@xCodeXANA heey so similar issue. Im currently re downloading my mods and putting them into my game. if you use mods try the same ill check back in an hour or so to update, incase any mod user is having the same issues. i also repaired my whole game and all my packs prior to this so fingers crossed this works

Me too. Since the new scenario update, I have not been able to play the scenarios because the panel is glitched. The game also freezes about 5-10 minute into playing the game and would crash when toggling between build and play mode. 

I am having the same issue! My UI bar for the scenarios is messed up and I can’t play the game! Also every single option in the settings menu has a red dot 🔴 next to it. Idk what to do.

SAME! Ever since they added the whole Sims Delivery feature, my game now freezes sooooo much. there's also a lag of at least 8 seconds waiting for the menu when you click anything, when switching between household sims, and pausing/unpausing. its so frustrating because i cant think of a single game i've EVER played in my life where bringing up a menu or pausing causes disruption in gameplay. ridiculous.

Hi, Ive done all of the steps and have no cc in the mods folder (or anywhere) but my game is still freezing, what should I do?

Please also let me know whether you see any pattern to the freezing, for example if it only happens in one world, or one save, or when your sims perform a certain action.
