In the patch notes for the July 10th update it said,
"We have addressed stability issues introduced in a prior update on consoles. We will continue to monitor closely"
And this is why when we see an update coming out we all get suspicious about what's gonna break or not work properly. I've never played a game that puts my nerves on edge quite like the sims does when there's an update 😬
Also there was a PlayStation system update on 9th July if you have automatic updates turned off and didn't know about it (like I didn't) 🙄 make sure that's done too it might help.
