@AarenTheRainbow  Can you use the version cheat to check in game? Press and hold the buttons and triggers at the same time with the game launched. It will open the cheat box. Type in "Version." You will have to scroll up past the GP numbers to the top to find the version of your game.

    @AarenTheRainbow  Perfect! Thanks for checking.

You are also connected to the internet? You can check this in the following way: (Settings) > [Network] > [Test Internet Connection].

@AarenTheRainbow  Could you post a screenshot of what your gallery window looks like? It can be a screenshot from your PS4 or even just a phone photo of your TV.

@AarenTheRainbow  Very strange! Thank you for the picture. Lets try uninstalling and reinstalling your game. Please make sure you have enough space open on your hard drive for the game, updates, and all the packs you own to download properly.

    Uninstall and Reinstall the Game.

    • Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.

    • Select a game or application.

    • Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.

    • Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.

I always do a full reboot of the console after removing a game. Make sure the light display on the top goes dark before restarting the console.

@AarenTheRainbow  Okay! So you may still be on a child account, depending on when you or your parents set up your EA account. Or the parental controls on your playstation may be set to not allow community content.

Here's a link to the child account for EA https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/set-up-child-ea-account/ it has instructions on how to upgrade your account to a teen or adult account if you have a child account on EA still. Since you are older than what the child account needs, you would definitely be due for an account upgrade to teen.

Here's a link for parental controls on the PS4. https://support.playstation.com/s/article/PS4-Parental-Controls?language=en_US It has instructions on how your parents can add or remove restrictions from your account if your account is under a parental account.

Please note: A parent has to do these things for you since they set up the restrictions in the first place. Please let me know if either of these were the issue!

@AarenTheRainbow  You may want to check the parental rating on your account. The number rating for games may be set to low for sims on your PS4.

To view the parental control level for a game on screen, select the game in the content area, press the OPTIONS button, and then select [Information]. When a game has age restrictions, the parental control level will appear in the [Parental Control] field.

The following list shows the parental control setting that corresponds to each ESRB rating:

0: ESRB RP - RATING PENDING
2: ESRB EC - EARLY CHILDHOOD
    3: ESRB E - EVERYONE
    4: ESRB E10+ - EVERYONE 10+
    5: ESRB T - TEEN
    9: ESRB M - MATURE
10: ESRB AO - ADULTS ONLY

The parent account has to make any changes to the child account through Settings < Family Management, then select the account to manage, under the child account then select Parental Controls > Applications/Devices/Network Features once in that screen they can change Age Level for Games, and under Network Features make sure Viewing Content Created by other Players is set to Allowed. There's also an Age Filtering by Online content that may also need to be disabled, but only if the other setting didn't change anything.

@AarenTheRainbow  I was trying this out on my PS4 with a child account, and like you I could not see the gallery on level 5 even with the online content and age restriction filters off. I bumped it up to 8, which is still teen (and your age range) and tried and when I logged into Sims on the child account it prompted me to create an EA account.

So see if bumping the parental control up to 8 (still teen, no M games allowed) helps.

@AarenTheRainbow I'm going to put the contact for EA on here with instructions. If you've set your PS4 up correctly for parental controls the issue could be your EA account itself.

The contact EA form is here https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/

    • Select the Sims
    • Select your Platform
    • Select a Topic
    • Select an issue
    • At the next screen you can chat with a live support person.
