Several critical issues after the last update!
After the latest update, I started experiencing multiple major issues across the game on console. Most of them seem related to UI responsiveness, Build Mode functionality, and missing owned content.
- Owned packs repeatedly behave as if newly installed
Every time I launch the game, all my DLC packs and expansion content are treated as if they were just installed for the first time. I constantly receive the introduction/tutorial pop-ups and notifications for packs I already own.
In addition to that:
- Some pack items are missing from Build/Buy mode
- Some owned packs do not appear correctly in-game
- Certain content is completely unavailable despite being purchased
This issue started only after the latest update.
- Build Mode is heavily broken
Build Mode is extremely unstable and unreliable now. Examples:
- Furniture often cannot be placed
- Objects sometimes place and instantly disappeared
- Walls cannot be deleted consistently
- Build tools work only intermittently
- Inputs frequently do not register
The problem becomes especially noticeable when entering Build Mode from the world map/manage worlds screen.
- Build Mode on community lots is almost unusable
When editing community/public lots, Build Mode becomes even more unstable. Issues include:
- Severe lag and input delay
- Furniture placement not working
- Objects disappearing immediately after placement
- Decorations and items not responding to clicks
- Build tools functioning randomly
It feels like the game is struggling to process interactions correctly.
- Create-a-Sim (CAS) controls are broken
Create-a-Sim is also heavily affected. Examples:
- Hairstyles do not select when clicked
- Clothing items often cannot be selected
- UI interactions fail repeatedly
- Many clicks simply do nothing
There seems to be a major control/input issue affecting the entire game!
At this point, the game is barely playable on console after the latest update.
The most concerning issue is that paid content and owned packs are missing or not functioning correctly. Since this is purchased content, this should be treated as a high-priority issue.
Please investigate these problems urgently.
