What happens when the bug occurs? The game freezes. Cursor just sits loading and loading.
What do you expect to see? I try to place a bed on the new platform and the game immediately freezes.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I was sooo excited for the new Platform Update because I couldn't wait to put a bed on a platform! Low and behold after updating, repairing, closing and reopening Sims 4 the game *continues* to completely freeze on my Mac every time I build a Platform and place a bed on it. Please tell me how to fix this, I am so disappointed.

Not sure if it is okay to reply to this thread but my game also crashed in a different way. Never happened before, i was playing in a university housing and traveled to UBrite Squad in order to participate in a debate showdown. The game suddenly shut itself down. No need to mention it happened after the latest update i think...

To try and help understand what the issue is, and you are on a Mac, please can you provide the following:
@Bluebellflora Hi, thanks for helping. I've attached the config.log file. I was having a birthday party when the game crashed and there was no error message before it crashed. I stupidly deleted the lastCrash report this morning but if it happens again I will attach it.

Game Freezes after 10-20 Minutes. ( Im a Mac user and the non ending spinning Rainbow Wheel appears)
When I Try to change the resolution ore Game settings the game Crash instantly

Here are my Config.log and lastCrash. I just played the game again to ensure I was having same issue. I was playing for about 40 minutes when it crashed. I was traveling to my home lot from the lounge in Del Sol Valley when the game just exited with no lagging beforehand or any error message. I have no mods/CC. I have also repaired my game.

In my experience this crash has only occurred while playing online. I have not (at least yet) had issues qhile playing offline.
Is anybody getting the freezing problem as soon as Winterfest is going on? I started a new Sim folder (also no sound) and could play without a problem for a couple of days. Now Winterfest just started and the freezing came back! That same thing happened with my original Sim folder.

What happens when the game does this?
My game freezes after 4 minutes into playing. But it will act like time is still going by my sims move but time is frozen I can’t move between sims. And I can still click on other stuff but once I do it just adds to the crashing part. If I save it just keeps on saving and then my computer tells me the sims isn’t responding.
What do you expect to see?
I want to be able to play with the family I’ve been playing without trying to make sure that them all doing things at once isn’t going to crash the game. I really looked forward to this game.

it appeared after I downloaded the new expansion on top of the new update. I was building fine in the game but once I started to play the game it started to do this. I want to say I’ve neverrrrr had this problem as long as I’ve had this sims 4 and my computer is completely up to date.
