I updated my game today with the new November 2020 update. It let me play for a little while (10-20) minutes before crashing. Nothing popped up on my screen and no error code either. The game just closed itself basically. I play on Mac.

Why oh why do these things have to happen EVERYTIME there is an update š it is putting me off buying the new pack as I just know there will be scores of problems like with the eco one š¤¦āāļøš

How often does the bug occur? Every time since Nov update.
What is your current game version number? Most Current
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Star Wars and spooky.
What happens when the bug occurs? Just shuts down and crashes. No error code whatsoever.
What do you expect to see? Just normal gameplay (family following normal routine in their house).
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, and removed them all. However, crash continues.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Since the November patch.

Game crashes all the time after approx. 10-20 minutes of gameplay. No error code. Attached ConfigLog and last crash files.

Same. Can't even play a full minute. Never had issues before.
My Sim is dying - she was elderly before, but I used a death flower before saving and exiting the game last. She technically shouldn't die - not sure if this has anything to do with it.
In any case, playing the game has become impossible.
To all of you having crashes issues. Is it only happening in Live mode? Or Build/Buy too?
I am having the same crashing issue. No issues in Build/Buy, only Live. Sometimes it will play for 10 minutes and crash, other times it will last a bit longer. There does not seem to be any pattern (ie crash on load screen or in certain location); seems pretty random. I have not even used the platform tool.
I am playin on Catalina 10.15.7.
Saw that others are having a similar problem. I play off a Macbook Pro and just updated the game yesterday. Now the game has the spinning rainbow and the screen went dark. Only have played in build and buy mode. I do have mods but this seems to be a different issue. Anyone else having this issue?

It's happening in live mode when I'm playing,,10-20mins of playing and then it crashes without warning whatsoever and isn't saved or anything.

I have the same problem after the last update. While playing, the game freezes, the mouse cursor loads and the game no longer wants to load.The next time the game shuts down unexpectedly at any time while playing - last after leaving CAS. ā¹ļø ā¹ļø ā¹ļø
