downloading sims on LaCie external hard drive (MacOs Catalina)
Hello everyone, I hope someone is able to help me out.
I used to have my sims 4 downloaded on my Lacie external harddrive. I havent played in a year, and yesterday when I tried to open up, an error came up. I deleted the whole game. I did uninstall sims 4, as well as origin on my MacBook Air (Catalina). I reinstalled origin, and now I am trying to instal sims 4 on my Lacie hard drive but its not working. It keeps saying ''origin is unable to instal games here. choose another folder.''
Can someone please help me out how to instal sims 4 on my LaCie hard drive?? I've been reading all the other forums, and tried a lot of things that people suggested, but nothing works?!

Ah yeah that problem ☹️ This was fixed months ago but you seem to have it again. Try this:
- Click on Computer on the left then double click on the "/" for the Macintosh HD.
- You should see "Volumes" here and then be able to click on your external.
- If you don't see "Volumes", click in the box at the bottom next to Directory and type in /Volumes then Choose or hit Enter. The window should disappear then reappear again and you should now see your external as a selectable drive.
Let me know how you get on 🙂
