Ea app not able to have full disk access
Trying to download my game on an external hard drive and it is not able to until I have given it full disk access from my mac. However it does not show up, only origin and my computer/ea won't let me...

Do you see the EA App listed under Files and Folders, and if so, can you grant it access to Removable Volumes there? That should work just as well.
If not, delete all these EA App-related files:
Trash the App itself, empty your trash, and restart your computer. Download the App again, and then try to download Sims 4 to your external drive. Any time you're asked to grant permission to the App to access a certain location, say yes.
