Gameplay Won't Load
Hi,
So I recently re-downloaded The Sims onto an external hard drive. Initially I just had the saves on the hard drive but I had to move the app onto the hard drive as well because I use this laptop for school work and I was running out of disk space.
I think I did something wrong when re-installing the app onto the hard drive. Here is what I did:
1. Uninstall The Sims
2. Change the game library location to '/Volumes/HardDrive'
3. Re-install The Sims onto the hard drive
When I run the game it gets me onto the main screen and sometimes onto the world, but never to actual gameplay it just gets stuck on the loading screen. I have left my laptop alone for a few hours to see if it would load but it stays on the loading screen. Please let me know if anyone can help.
Thanks!

The only way would be to roll back to a backup version of the save https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/recover-backup-save-game/
Or if you have a manual or Time Machine backup of your data, restore the save from before it corrupted.
