MacBook won't let me download sims without paying for ea play????

hi all,

I just downloaded sims, went through the origins app, on my Mac. I'm running macOS Monterey vrs. 12.5.1. I have more than enough space on my Macbook too, but no matter what I do I can't download the sims 4. It keeps prompting me to get ea play or whatever, and whenever I just click not interested or whatever the option is, I just straight up can't download it. Help!!!!!!

I have a craving and only sims can fix this rn, someone save me
