New Update Deleted Everything

After 3000 hours of sims content, including my legacy play through that I've had for years, the new update wiped my whole game. I literally had to resign the terms and conditions like it was my first time playing the game. I was going through a bit of a lull and hadn't gotten around to downloading the update until this morning and I wish I never had. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, hoping it would bring my stuff back, but no luck. The update even deleted every mod out of my mods folder? I've never seen anything like this before. I looked through all the electronic arts folders too, just in case my stuff got shifted around but again, nothing. Even my library got wiped, so all my builds and saved households are gone too. Did this happen to anyone else/ any suggestions? I'm just so frustrated! Can't believe I lost hours of gameplay for the stupid new home screen smh. I've been playing since Sims 2, but I'm not sure if I can keep playing after this. I could excuse the dumb, money-grabbing DLC content, but this is just crazy.

This happened to me too I don't know how to fix my game. If I look anything up it assumes I have mods which  I do not play with mods.

I haven’t moved any files recently, but I also can’t see any saves from the last five years. One of my oldest saves is accessible, but it says the last I played was 2020. The thumbnail in my game also shows sims from 5 years ago. Nothing from recently is anywhere to be found.

Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) and copy and paste this search command then hit enter/return. The OS may prompt for Terminal to access various locations on your Mac, you need to allow this to run a thorough search:

    find ~ -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null

It will take a while to return the results. You'll know when it's finished because the command prompt will reappear. Please copy/paste the results here. You can replace your Mac account name with an XX or something in the results, I don't need to know that.
