- @bsblover89 Thank you!
If you go to your Documents/Electronic Arts directory, do you have "The Sims 4" and a "The Sims 4 Legacy Edition" folders? If you do, what happens if rename "The Sims 4 Legacy Edition" to something else, then copy/paste "The Sims 4" folder and rename the copy to "The Sims 4 Legacy Edition", then start the Sims? Do your old saves, etc appear? Nothing does everything was erased but I luckily found out my other computer that’s a windows meets all further requirements so I just re-installed on there and started over. I appreciate all the help trying to get it working on my MacBook 🙂
- @bsblover89 I'm glad you're running again, but I'd still really like to know what happened to the saves and stuff on your Mac. Would you mind still trying some things?
As much as I would love to I unfortunately uninstalled the game from my Mac today after the install. I happen to think I might have accidentally deleted a folder which may have been the cause of loosing my game data
- @bsblover89 Do you know what folder (it's name, where it was located, etc) you think might have led to the loss of game saves?
It may have been one located in my documents in the ea sims folder
- @bsblover89 That would be the expected place, yes. Thanks for digging through your memory to verify! 🙂
Your welcome 🙂
