That's probably causing the cloudy water - have you tried disabling it? Would be really helpful if you could also provide the details asked for too 🙂

    It was in fact the laptop mode that was doing it... sad though, because laptop mode was one of the only things keeping my game from lagging so badly I can't even play :/

    What is the laptop mode? I'm also on a mac laptop. my settings are on Ultra resolution and yet I can't get any reflexion on the water...

    Under the Reflections drop down what setting is it on? Could you also post a screenshot of where a reflection is missing?

    it's like this in my pools.

    The most frustrating is the oceans:

    I only have this one lot where, weirdly, the pool has reflection !

    Maybe it's because the pool is small...

    I see reflection in the ocean and the sun is at the wrong angle in the second one, look at the diving spot.

    The bottom picture is lovely - gorgeous build!

    but yeah I do not have reflection in the ocean. My oceans look nothing like this picture (taken from a youtube video of a simmer) đŸ˜ĸ

    But I can see reflections in your previous ocean picture. I think the world starts looking better as you clean it up.
