SIMS DELIVERY ERROR

Hello!

I have been able to update my game no problem but I am faced with an issue that has not let me into the game. Before I begin let me state some facts:

I am an Apple user. 

Game is newly updated 

There are no CC nor Mods in my game.

The error code: 00000008;000000000000000c8

I have uninstalled both EA App and The Sims 4, Repaired and restarted my computer.

 

PLEASE HELP! Thank you to whoever spent time reading and assisting me.

  • lovemezeex3  Please try disabling automatic SDX updates.  You can open the EA App and put it in offline mode, take your computer offline before launching the game, change the setting, quit, and reload back in online mode.

      Thank you taking the time to read my issues and assisting me in finding a solution. Unfortunately, that did not work. My game now is showing in game items in CAS as broken.

      I tried both what was suggested on this article and on another thread as well and I am still experiencing the same issue. EA hasn’t responded to me either. 

  • lovemezeex3  Did you try a clean Sims 4 user folder as well?  If not, please do so now, as in, move the existing folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and see whether the textures are still missing in a new save.  Your old saves will be intact in the folder you moved and can be restored later.
